Sanibel Island art yarn

Inspired by my visits to this beautiful tropical island in Florida. This yarn is handspun and some of the fibers are hand dyed. Dozens of beads, including small seashells, are spun in throughout.

I came across this amazing idea the other day. Lea Redmond of Leafcutter Designs is the brainchild behind this brilliant idea. Each day you knit one row in colors that match the colors of the sky that day. I started one of my own as well as my own twist on it: a “mood” scarf. Each day I knit with a yarn that I feels best captures my mood.
